Understanding window performance
- Low-E glass carries a microscopic metallic coating that reflects heat back into the room in winter and blocks solar heat in summer. It is the single biggest efficiency upgrade over builder-grade clear glass.
- Argon fill replaces the air between panes with a denser, less conductive gas, which raises the insulating value of the unit without changing how it looks.
- Installation decides performance. A premium window fitted with compressed insulation and no flashing pan will leak air and water. We flash and insulate the rough opening, then seal and trim the interior.
How the project runs
- Free on-site estimate We inspect the existing assembly, take measurements and photographs, and explain what is failing and what the options are.
- Written scope You receive a written price naming the materials, the work included and the exclusions, so nothing is ambiguous later.
- Installation The crew that quoted the job performs the work, protecting the property and cleaning up as they go.
- Walk-through and warranty We review the finished work with you and hand over manufacturer paperwork together with our own workmanship guarantee.

Common questions about windows
How do I know if my windows need replacing?
Look for fogging between the panes (a failed seal), condensation on the inside glass, drafts near the frame, difficulty opening or closing, and rotted or soft wood sills. Fogged glass cannot be repaired economically; the unit has to be replaced.
Do replacement windows pay for themselves?
Energy savings alone rarely repay a full-house window replacement quickly. The honest reasons to replace are comfort, noise reduction, easier cleaning, appearance and stopping water damage at failing sills. We will tell you which of your windows actually need replacing and which do not.
Can you install windows in a brick or stucco wall?
Yes. Brick and stucco openings need a different flashing and sill detail than a wood-framed wall, and we build that detail as part of the installation rather than relying on caulk alone.
