Photographs are paired so you can compare the existing exterior with the finished installation. Some projects were photographed before digital cameras were common, so a few images are lower resolution than we would like — the workmanship, however, still speaks for itself.

What to look for in these photographs
When you compare before-and-after images, look past the colour change and check the details that decide whether an exterior lasts:
- Straight lines. Siding courses, gutter runs and ridge lines should read as straight from the street and from the side of the house.
- Trim and transitions. Corners, window returns, door surrounds and roof-to-wall junctions are where water gets in when they are done carelessly.
- Flashing. New roofs need new step and counter flashing, not reused material bent back into place.
- Ventilation. Ridge vents, soffit vents and attic fans work as a system; adding one without the others rarely solves a hot attic.
- Site condition. A finished job should include a clean yard, magnets run over the lawn for nails and debris hauled away.
