What areas does LeakFree Exterior serve?

We work throughout Horsham, Montgomery County, Bucks County and Philadelphia County in southeast Pennsylvania, including Hatboro, Warminster, Willow Grove, Abington, Ambler, Maple Glen, Lansdale, North Wales, Doylestown and Warrington.

Do you give free estimates?

Yes. Every project starts with a free, no-obligation estimate. We inspect the existing roof, siding, windows or gutters in person, explain what we find and provide a written price before any work begins.

Are you licensed and insured?

LeakFree Exterior is a licensed and insured contractor, and all workmanship is guaranteed. We provide copies of our licence and certificate of insurance with your written estimate.

How long has LeakFree Exterior been in business?

We have been installing roofs, siding, windows, doors and gutters in the Philadelphia suburbs for more than two decades, working with the same core crew and the same manufacturer partners.

What kinds of roofing do you install?

We install fibreglass and architectural designer shingles, cedar shakes, slate tile and EPDM modified rubber roofing, along with complete attic ventilation systems, ridge vents, attic power fans and ice-and-water protection.

Do you install siding, windows and gutters on the same project?

Yes, and it is usually the better way to work. Roofing, siding, windows, gutters and trim all meet each other, so handling them with one crew avoids the transition problems that appear when three trades each finish at the edge of their own scope.

How long does a typical exterior project take?

Most residential roofs are completed in one to three days. Siding projects generally run three to seven days depending on size and repairs uncovered. Windows are usually a one to two day installation, and gutters are commonly finished in a single day. We confirm the schedule before work starts.

Do you remove and dispose of the old materials?

Yes. Tear-off, hauling and disposal are included in the written scope, and we sweep the site with magnets for nails before we leave.

What does the workmanship warranty cover?

Our written workmanship guarantee covers how the material was installed: fastening, flashing, ventilation, trim and detailing. The manufacturer's warranty covers defects in the material itself. We register manufacturer warranties for you and hand over the paperwork at the final walk-through.

How do payments work?

You receive a written payment schedule with the estimate. Deposits cover material ordering, with the balance due after the work is complete and you have walked the job with us. We do not ask for the full amount up front.

Can you work while we are at home?

Of course — most of our customers are home during the work. We protect plantings and vehicles, keep walkways clear where possible, and tell you at the start of each day what we will be doing.

Do you handle storm damage and insurance work?

We repair storm damage and can document the damage with photographs and a written scope for your insurer. If a leak is active, tell us when you call and we will prioritise the visit.

Do you work on twins, townhouses and homes with shared walls?

Yes. Shared walls change how flashing, siding and trim are detailed, and we handle the party-wall junctions carefully so water does not track between units.

Can you match materials that are already on my house?

Often, yes. Many discontinued shingle and siding lines can be matched closely enough for a repair or an addition. Where an exact match is not available we show you the closest options before ordering.

Questions to ask any exterior contractor

These are the questions we expect from a careful homeowner, and the ones we are happy to answer in writing before you commit to anything:

  • Is the price fixed, and what could change it?
  • Which specific product line and manufacturer is being installed?
  • Who performs the work — your own crew or subcontractors?
  • What is the start date, and how long will the property be opened up?
  • What does the workmanship warranty cover, and for how long, in writing?
  • Will the manufacturer warranty be registered for me?
  • How is the site protected, and who removes the debris?
  • Can I see a completed project in this area?
